Drivers Licence and Age
Renter and authorised drivers must be in possession of a valid unendorsed drivers licence.
**MINIMUM AGE 25 YEARS
Petrol
Petrol is not included in the rates. Each car leaves with a full tank and the renter pays for the refuelling on termination of contract.
Rates
All rates include maintenance and oil.
Extension of Rental
If extension of rental beyond the original date of return is required, Apex Car Hire must be notified immediately. Failure to do so may mean that the renter is driving the car without insurance and illegally.
Deposit
A minimum deposit is required at the time of taking delivery of the car. A final adjustment is made on termination.
Deposit must be cash or recognised credit cards.
Conditions of Rental
Cars are rented subject to the Company's standard form of agreement. Rates and conditions of rental are subject to change without notice.
Kilometres
Time and kilometres are calculated from and back to our depot.
Rental Charge
The minimum rental charge is 24 hours.
Speedometers
All speedometers are sealed and if they are found to have been tampered with, a minimum charge of 300 kilometres per day will be charged. Plus kilometres driven. Discount, weekly, monthly, unlimited kilometre rates will become null and void, and criminal charges will be brought against the renter.
Towing Costs
Towing costs is responsible by the client/driver of the car/bakkie.
